It did the job.

Managing a cafe with speakers indoor and outdoor whose connection was in one amplifier.

If I reduce the volume for the speakers inside the cafe, the speakers outside were very slow because of traffic and other noises outside.

After fixing the volume controller, I can now easily reduce the sound inside (which is contained in walls); and do not have to worry about the sound outside as I can control it directly from the amplifier.
